The Husqvarna Viking Marking Foot has multiple uses, one is to make traditional tailor tacks to transfer pattern markings to fabric, great where marking pens or chalk may not be able to be removed or could disappear in handling before needed. Today's more common use is to make fringed edges, flowers, animal fur and other three dimensional surface embellishments. You can also use the Husqvarna Viking Marking Foot to sew open fagoted seams in heirloom sewing, these are an open lacey seam that give a delicate look to special garments. Includes instructions.
