The Husqvarna Viking Dual Feed Walking Foot is used when precision matching of plaids and stripes is needed and when sewing problematic fabrics and layers such as when quilting or sewing on lofty fabrics like Polar Fleece, Minky or Cuddle. The Dual Feed Walking Foot grasps the top fabric and "walks" along as the machine feed dog moves from below, resulting in perfectly matched, plaids and stripes, evenly fed quilt layers and problematic fabrics and long lengths of any fabric coming out perfectly even at the end of the seam. The open toe of the Husqvarna Viking Dual Feed Walking Foot makes visibility easy so you can see precisely where the needle is entering the fabric. The Dual Feed Walking Foot can be used with all practical stitches as well as simple "open" type decorative stitches. Includes reversible edge guide for both left and right sides, allowing you to follow a certain distance from an edge or previous line of stitching. Includes complete instructions. Maximum stitch width that can be used is 6mm.
